Carlita L. Cotton, MJP, MPA
An executive business consultant and entrepreneur, she brings more than 18 years of consulting experience alongside a background in project management, business analysis and organizational development. Her experience includes wellness-program consulting with Chicanos Por La Causa, university teaching support, student government and public leadership. In 2022, she ran for Mayor of Goodyear, Arizona.
Her perspective is informed by five academic degrees spanning public administration, legal studies, organizational psychology, sociocultural anthropology and business. That foundation supports an approach that considers the whole organization—its people, financial priorities, operational responsibilities and growth potential.
The purpose behind the work
Her commitment to disability-service providers is personal. As a mother whose son experienced disabilities and mental health challenges, she understood the importance of prepared agencies, dependable services and stable housing. That experience helped shape her decision to bring her education and professional experience together in support of entrepreneurs who want to make a difference.
International
A resident of Mexico who maintains her life and business presence in both Mexico and the United States, she brings firsthand experience to the practical realities of establishing a livelihood across borders.
She is a licensed real estate professional in Sonora, Mexico, License No. 2528, with additional training in Bienes Raíces I and II. Her business presence in Puerto Peñasco connects property guidance with the firm’s broader work in business development, marketing and international expansion.
